In the world of Lunatara, gods are not just beings worshipped by people as a hope of salvation. They are existing beings with the power to create beings and objects, and not just conjure them temporarily like normal magic but to create them permanently. There are also so called demi-gods, most often off-springs of gods, that even if they are not close to normal gods in power, theirs are far more powerful than any normal being in the world.

The chosen ones are indirect off-springs from the overgod who controls the entire universe and they therefore more powerful than normal humans but still not as powerful as a demi-god.
